Dennis will also be holding sand sculpting workshops for the young and the young at heart. Not to be missed!

Although the judging of the Showgirl Competition takes place at an intimate event during the week prior to the show, the girls have a nervous wait as the winner is not announced until the Friday afternoon directly before the Grand Parade. With the judges present to elaborate on their decision, the Showgirl winner and runner-up are presented with their official sashes, flowers and prizes and begin their year long reign. Catch the Showgirl undertaking her official duties on Saturday as she presents the winning trade exhibitors with their awards. Bridie Gould is the reigning Alice Springs Showgirl.
